Computers & Networks in Business; That actually says it in a nut shell. Micrososft & Novell servers is my focus with the high-end of the network, but common problems often are fixing user desktop issues, such as printing. I have many certifications, but basically stay proficient with current "best of breed" solutions in a small business perspective of economics and ROI. I work with other computer industry profesionals on team projects or in vertical market software, or in resourcing talents that are too esoteric or beyond my own experience.
- Microsoft Windows - All Desktop versions - 9X/ME/NT/2K/XP and NT4/Win2K/Win2003 Servers.
- Novell Netware versions 4.11 thru 6, GroupWise email, Border Manager firewall, etc.
- Firewall and remote access software & configurations, email anti-virus & anti-spam software.
- Software Integration - getting all the software to work together and talk to each other.
- Internet - access, security, remote access and ISP configurations/consulting/intervention.
- Server & network upgrades, with off/after hours work for minimal down time & office disruption
- Wi-Fi - Extensive wireless expertise & experience, Internet, repeaters, antenna optimization, signal boosters, secure LAN access points
- Harware - cabling & repair, PC & Server repair & upgrades
